This month is all about... walking your dog!!!


Sounds mundane, right? Well, there's more to it when you might think. Here's a few tips that will help you and your pooch have the most pleasurable walks.


- Walk your dog in the morning! And be sure to give yourself enough time. 30 minutes to an hour is ideal. This will not only be the best way for your dog to wake up, but it will help you start your day as well!!!


- Use a short leash. You need to be in control of your dog at all times! While Flexi or similar retractable leashes are very convenient for letting your dog out to go potty, they should not be used for walking.


- Bring the right stuff! Wear a comfortable pair of shoes, bring a bag of treats to reward your pup, and most importantly, poop bags! It is not only gross to leave your dog poop, but in most public places it is illegal.


Our newest addition, Jason, is a dog walker for Wag! If you don't have time to take your dog for a walk, consider using an app like Wag! to meet your pup's needs.
